Inky Wildflowers are mixed media art on large canvas. The blue flower piece is the first painting I ever sold in a gallery. I just had a feeling that it would sell so before I brought it to the gallery I had it scanned in high resolution so I could make prints. It is still my highest selling piece to date.

I decided to make a spring version and a fall version as well. These pieces are made of tiny inky lines using acrylic ink and high fluid acrylic paints. I used a variety of small brush sizes to create each dot, each petal, each leaf.
